This January service brought the community together for Divine Liturgy and the Blessing of Jordan Water. Confession was available before the liturgy, and the service was framed by a clear communal intention: prayer for Ukraine.

Why it mattered

The Blessing of Jordan Water is one of the most recognisable winter observances in Ukrainian church life. Marking it in Darwin helps preserve a living faith tradition in a very different landscape.
