Psychological Support
Displacement, war, and the challenges of starting over in a new country can take a significant toll on mental health. UAANT provides pathways to psychological and emotional support for Ukrainians in the Northern Territory.
What We Provide
- Peer support groups: Regular sessions where community members can share experiences in a safe, confidential environment.
- Wellbeing referrals: Connections to trusted psychologists, counsellors, and mental health services in Darwin that are experienced with the needs of displaced communities.
- Emergency support pathways: If you or someone you know is in urgent need, we can help navigate mental health crisis support services quickly.
- Check-in support: Volunteer-led check-ins for individuals who may be isolated or struggling.
