You don't need to be Ukrainian by birth or heritage to become a member. UAANT welcomes every person in the Northern Territory — and beyond as an Associate Member — who shares Ukrainian values: freedom, resilience, dignity, and community.
Whether you were born in Kyiv or Darwin, whether you came to Australia last month or decades ago, whether you're Ukrainian, Australian, or from anywhere else in the world — if you want to stand with Ukraine and be part of this community, there is a place for you here.

Annual membership
Which membership fits you?
Membership renews each year. Pay online instantly with the button on the card, or use bank transfer, cash, or card in person — details further down this page.
Student / Concession
Select this if you are a full-time student or hold a current concession card.
You will need to include your student ID number or concession card details when you submit your membership form.
Pay A$10 & joinIndividual
Select this if you are joining as a single person — whether you are new to Darwin, long-term resident, or simply want to be an active part of UAANT.
The most common choice. You will have full voting rights at general meetings as soon as your application is accepted.
Pay A$20 & joinFamily
Select this if you are joining together with your household — spouse, children, or other family members living at the same address.
One payment covers your whole household. Please list all family members' full names and dates of birth on your membership form.
Pay A$40 & joinCompany / Organisation
Select this if you are joining on behalf of a business, organisation, or community group that wants to formally support UAANT.
A great way for local businesses and partner organisations to show solidarity with Darwin's Ukrainian community.

How to Join
Joining UAANT is straightforward. The Management Committee reviews all applications and typically processes them at its next scheduled meeting.

Complete the membership form
The easiest way is the online membership form. Alternatively, download the paper form below, fill it in, and email it to uaant.inc@gmail.com or hand it in at any UAANT event.

Welcome to UAANT!
The Committee considers your application at its next meeting. Once approved, your name is added to the member register and your rights take full effect.
If an application is rejected, the applicant may appeal to the Secretary within 14 days. The Committee will reconsider, and if rejected again the decision is final.

Membership Rules
- Annual renewal — Membership is valid for one year from payment date. The annual fee is due by the first day of each financial year. Memberships not renewed within 3 months of the due date lapse automatically.
- Non-transferable — Membership rights cannot be transferred or transmitted to another person.
- No refunds — Annual membership fees are not refunded if you cease to be a member during the year.
- Associate membership — People not physically based in the NT are welcome as Associate Members. Associate members have no voting rights but can participate in all community activities and support the Association.
- Photography consent — By joining, you acknowledge that photos or video taken at UAANT events may be used for non-commercial community purposes (website, social media, newsletters). You may opt out in writing at any time.
