Community Consultations
UAANT offers community consultations — advisory sessions where Ukrainians in the Northern Territory can get guidance, ask questions, and access reliable information without having to navigate complex systems alone.
What Consultations Cover
- Visa and migration: General information, timelines, document preparation, and referrals to registered migration agents.
- Government services: Help understanding Centrelink, Medicare, and other Australian services relevant to your situation.
- Employment and education: Guidance on working rights, resume support, and finding education pathways.
- Residency and legal matters: Direction on next steps for residency applications and referrals to appropriate legal professionals.
- General settlement questions: Any question about getting established in the NT — no topic is too small.
Online and In-Person Options
We accommodate people based in Darwin and those outside the greater Darwin area. Online consultations via video call are available to ensure everyone in the NT has access to support.
