
On February 24, 2025, the Ukrainian-Australian Association of Northern Territory (UAANT) hosted a special gathering to mark three years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It was an emotional and powerful event, bringing together the local community, Ukrainian refugees, and supporters to reflect on the past, honor the resilience of the Ukrainian people, and reinforce our commitment to supporting Ukraine.
A Day of Unity and Reflection
The event was filled with heartfelt moments as attendees shared stories, paid tribute to those affected by the war, and expressed their unwavering solidarity. The gathering included:
🕯 A moment of silence in remembrance of those who have lost their lives in the fight for Ukraine’s freedom.
💬 Speeches and testimonials from Ukrainian refugees, community leaders, and supporters, highlighting the ongoing challenges and victories.
🎶 Ukrainian music and cultural performances, showcasing the rich heritage and spirit of Ukraine.
💙 Fundraising and donation drives, with proceeds going towards humanitarian aid and support for the Ukrainian army.

The overwhelming support from the Northern Territory community once again demonstrated that Ukraine is not alone. Every voice, every donation, and every shared moment of solidarity sends a message of hope and resilience.
